System Requirements

System requirements for Single user install

1.       1 GHz 32-bit (x86) processor or faster, dual core recommended for OCR processing.

2.       256MB of system memory, 1 GB for scanner/OCR workstations.

3.       20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space, will vary by planned volume, Estimated average of 60KB of storage per image.

4.       DVD/CD ROM drive.

5.       Super VGA supporting 800 x 600 or higher-resolutions.

 

System requirements for network workstation install

1.       1 GHz 32-bit (x86) processor or faster, dual core recommended for OCR processing workstations.

2.       256MB of system memory, 1 GB for scanner/OCR workstations.

3.       20 GB hard drive with at least 1 GB of available space.

4.       DVD/CD ROM drive.

5.       Network access 100MB minimum.

6.       Super VGA supporting 800 x 600 or higher-resolutions.

 

System requirements for server install

1.       550-MHz processor or faster.

2.       1GB of system memory minimum.

3.       Hard drive space required varies by content.  Will vary by planned volume, Estimated average of 60KB of storage per image.

4.       DVD/CD ROM drive.

5.       Network access 100Mb minimum.

Installation Instructions

If prompted when downloading, choose to Save the file to a folder on your computer. Once the download of software is complete open the file and run the setup to install the program, follow the installer on-screen instructions to complete installation.
